Faith
FAITH Care Home in Jaipur, which cares for 17 HIV+ children who have been orphaned by AIDS. Many of these children have remaining extended family, but for various reasons, are unable to live with them. Some of their families are just too poor to care for another child, and others have no interest in caring for them because they are HIV+. Stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS remains to be one of the most difficult obstacles to overcome in India, and consequently, thousands of vulnerable women and children fall victim to discrimination, abandonment and destitution.
